Boreham Wood supporters are being looked after very nicely by chairman Danny Hunter well ahead of the festive period.
Not only has he already cut the cost of the fans’ travel for their FA Cup trip to Southport on Saturday.
But he has just announced he will pay for them to get in the ground as well!
The fantastic gesture comes as reward for the fans who are heading up to the north west this weekend on one of the club’s supporter coaches.
Hunter is clearly keen to get as many to the Merseyrail Community Stadium as possible to get behind his boys.
One coach has already sold out and there is sure to be plenty of interest in the next one which will ferry fans to the FA Cup first round game.
Boreham Wood remember this stage last year when they famously beat Blackpool, pictured.
Manager Luke Garrard says it’s a huge match for the club and isn’t taking Southport’s struggle at the wrong end of the National League North into consideration.
Wood got to this stage after overcoming a replay with Dagenham while Liam Watson’s team have seen off Ashton United, Curzon Ashton and also Farsley Celtic.
