Your Three Players Of The Season Are Recognised

By Sam Elliott

While the Manager of the Year accolades were all about promotion and title wins, the stand-out Players didn’t end the campaign covered in champagne.

Few would argue that Chris Conn-Clarke didn’t deserved to be drenched in bubbly after the season he had.

You would do well to find a better number 10 than the Altrincham man, the attacking midfielder consistently stood out with a number of dazzling displays

With 23 goals and 12 assists, few could get close to him - and Alty know how difficult it will be to keep him after a sensational season capped with the Vanarama National League Player of the Year award.

Big years bring big reward. Ollie Pearce’s incredible campaign earned him a move to York City - and he’s been crowned the South’s king too.

He scored 46 goals in 51 appearances across all competitions, winning the golden boot by a distance.

Worthing fell just short of promotion but unsurprisingly, he stepped up a level regardless.

South Shields also couldn’t quite fulfil their promotion quest, missing out on the play-offs on the final day.

But in Paul Blackett they always have the man to bring hope for the future.

His 30-goal season was enough to convince our panel that he was the division’s main man last season - and a year on from signing, he is hoping to complete the job next time around.

Well done to our three fantastic winners!
