Young's At Heart! Dragons Make Luke First Summer Signing

Sam Ricketts has made his first move as Wrexham's manager.

The Dragons new boss has made Torquay United midfield man Luke Young the first player through the door at the Racecourse.

The Gulls Player of the Season, 25, has signed a two-year deal in north Wales.

He played for Torquay for four years after arriving from Plymouth in 2014.

Young told the Wrexham website: "I'm really looking forward to it. After playing Wrexham over the past few years it's always been a tough place to come.

"Being on the flip side of that now is something I am really looking forward to.”

Manager Ricketts said: "I have said from day one that I want quality players and Luke is one of them. Fair play he is moving up her with his family

"He's made that commitment to move from Torquay to Wrexham and that is the type of players I want.

"He's really good on the ball,he switches the play really well and we'll be looking to utalise that this year."
