Young Trio Extends Coasters Stay

Luke Burke and Sam Stubbs have extended their loans from SkyBet League One high-flyers Wigan Athletic until the end of the season, as has Championship outfit Bristol City`s starlet Jonny Smith.

Full-back Burke, 19, has impressed since joining on loan from the Latics in August, making twenty-two appearances for Dave Challinor’s side.

Defender Stubbs, 19, signed on an initial one-month loan in December and impressed alongside Jordan Tunnicliffe, helping the Coasters to two clean sheets in four appearances.

Smith, 20, has become a real fans` favourite at Mill Farm following a string of dazzling displays.

The pacey winger has netted 6 goals in thirty-five appearances in all competitions – including two in his last four starts – and has missed just one league game this season.
