Young Robin Becomes A Temporary Bluebird

Chippenham Town have secured a loan deal for 18-year-old James Morton from SkyBet Championship side Bristol City.

Morton was signed from Bristol Inner City Academy at the age of 14.

Chippenham manager Mark Collier said: “James is highly-rated at City. He will be initially joining us on a month’s loan. With Matt Smith injured, with James Guthrie suspended and Scott Donnelly departed the club it was important that I ensured competition for shirts remained paramount.”

Morton will be in the matchday squad against high-flying Chelmsford City today.
