Jonny Burn has joined York City on loan from SkyBet League One side Bristol Rovers.

The defender joins the Minstermen on a month`s loan deal.

The 22-year-old has played six games for Rovers since his arrival from Middlesborough in January, making his debut in a 1-1 draw against Port Vale back in February.

The former Middlesborough under-21 captain featured in all three of Rovers' Checkatrade Trophy fixtures this campaign.

York are scheduled to play seven games during the duration of the loan deal, which runs until January 6th, starting with a trip to face Boston United this Saturday.
