York Take Guiseley Defender On Loan

Defender Connor Brown has joined York City on loan until the end of the season from National League side Guiseley AFC.

Brown, a right-back, went straight into the City side for Saturday's 2-2 draw against Spennymoor Town at Bootham Crescent.

Born in Sheffield, Brown, 26, started his career at Sheffield United before joining Oldham Athletic where he stayed for over four years and made just under 100 appearances.

He joined Guiseley in September 2016 after being released by Oldham and has made over fifty appearances for the West Yorkshire club.

He has also played on loan for Carlisle United, Hinckley United, and Eastwood Town.
