Wright’s Warning To Millers As Solihull Get Some Home Help

By Sam Elliott

Danny Wright says no side strike fear into Solihull Moors at home at the moment.

Tim Flowers’ team have the best record in front of their own fans in the National League this season.

They have taken 27 points at the SportNation.bet stadium - and Rotherham United come calling tonight.

The live BT Sport FA Cup second round tie could be even more significant - the draw for the third round happens minutes before.

They will be in the hat with the Premier League giants regardless, alongside a number of other National League clubs.

Only AFC Fylde are certainly through but a brave effort for Boston United - with great fightbacks from Hartlepool and Eastleigh - means the competition is well represented.

Experienced Wright hopes they will still be involved come 10pm tonight.

“It’s a big game and we can’t wait,” the forward told us ahead of the visit of the League One Millers.

“We know they are good, really good but don’t forget we have got a great home record. Especially over the past few months.

“We feel we can beat any side from our division here on our day - and anyone from the leagues above even.

“We’re in a good place at the moment, especially at home - it’s a ground teams don’t seem to like coming to.

“Hopefully Rotherham will find it difficult on the night and we can do something special.”
