Wright Wants As Strong A Finish As Possible For Darlo

Darlington boss Tommy Wright says his defence keep on impressing him as they continue a good run of form.

A number of impressive defensive displays have helped the side picking up valuable points.

They haven't played in nearly two weeks due to the weather but will be looking to continue their good run of form.

"The clean sheet and point is what mattered in the last game, that is such a positive that we are so hard to break down," Wright told the club's website.

"I'm proud of what I am seeing, four clean sheets in a row is a notable achievement.

"I would rather us win games and score goals that could mean we concede a few, this is a young back four and there is a buzz for not conceding, they pride themselves with their work.

Darlo are next up against Boston United with Wright wanting more of the same.

"We have good attacking players and they are scoring and defensively we are doing well, we need to take that into the next matches."
