A 1-0 win at Bradford Park Avenue saw Darlo move up the table and a little further away from the bottom three places, writes Tom Feaheny.
"The character by the side impressed me, two wins and two clean sheets with a young keeper and back-four we showed a complete team performance," Wright told the club's website.
"For 20 minutes we didn't test their keeper then we got a chance and it sparked us into life, we opened up the game.
"Dave Syers is a very clever footballer and took his goal well and players like that are what you need to do well.
"We could have got a goal or two more, but it was crucial that we could hold on.
"The lads are in a good place, the atmosphere in the dressing room is superb, we have a strong squad and that is what I have been after since arriving."
