After returning to Barclays Premier League West Bromwich Albion for an assessment, the striker has returned to the Gulls in a move that has worked out for both parties.
A double in the FA Trophy against Chesham United, and strikes against Chester FC and Forest Green Rovers have endeared him to fans in a short space of time.
Player-manager Kevin Nicholson said: "We've seen a great improvement in Andre since he's been at the club. He's proven his worth.
"He's scored some important goals and led the line well. Now that we have a few reinforcements to back him up I think he'll shine even more. We're delighted to have him back and to have some real competition up front. That's only going to make us stronger and the rest of the forwards better players."
Wright's return adds fire power to Nicholson's squad as he prepares for Saturday's FA Trophy tie at the Launa Windows Stadium against Wrexham
