The night’s only National League North game ended all square as the 1-1 draw frustrated the Quakers.
Manager Wright, the club’s former striker, could only watch on as Darlo spurned chance after chance.
“We said the game would have goals and the only reason it didn’t have more is because we have not taken the numerous chances we have created,” he told the club’s video service.
“I lost track of the number of opportunities we had. It’s really disappointing that we have failed to take all three points.
“We did more than enough to win five games. What they did to Chester at the weekend we have just done to them - but the difference is they have escaped here with a 1-1 draw and Chester didn’t.
“There’s no point having all the attacking talent we have and then sitting back to defend.
“The players have been clapped off by the supporters because they know they have seen a real performance.”
