Wright Applauds Darlington After Derby Win

Darlington boss Tommy Wright says he couldn't have asked anymore of his squad after a win against Blyth Spartans.

A 3-0 win saw them make it back to back victories, the win moved them to 15th in the table, writes Tom Feaheny.

"The lads were brilliant from the first whistle, they continued the momentum, I challenged they to do it and they did, man for man they were outstanding," Wright told the club's website.

"We have played a top side in a derby, they have great footballers and we out played them.

"The third goal made me happy, the run was timed to perfection and that is the kind of performance I wanted and I got.

"I enjoyed watching them play, we attacked, we were playing great football, it was a fine day."
