A place in the Quarter-final is up for grabs after the Dragons overcame Ayr United on penalties.
Dean Keates is back in the Racecourse dugout and got opened his account with a 1-1 draw with Harrogate Town midweek.
And with their league form less than impressive at the minute, their cup game could be a chance to impress.
“There’s more than enough in that changing room," Keates told the club's website. "We need to build a bit of confidence, like I’ve said.
"It’s up to us to change the atmosphere and the environment and make everything more positive.
“They’ve taken a bit of a body blow, but they need to step up now. That comes with hard work, and that’s what we’re expecting of them.”
Solihull Moors are also in Scottish Challenge Cup action but will have to wait until October 29 to face Rangers U21.
