The Wood were taken the distance by National League South leaders Dartford in Tuesday’s FA Trophy first round replay.
Garrard’s side eventually triumphed on penalties and the boss is confident his charges will be fit and raring to go at Solihull on Saturday as they look to consolidate their position in the play-offs.
He told Boreham Wood TV: “I told the boys that at times, the ability, the quality and decision making were lacking at times but credit has to go to Dartford.
“They nullified what we have in terms of a threat. We go again now in preparation for Solihull.
“I think we’re the fittest side in the League. You see us at the end of the games against Blackpool, Woking and Fylde. We went with legs, energy and attacking play.
“It refocuses me. I’ll get a masseuse in to get the players recovered but Friday will be the same and we’ll travel on Saturday prepared to get three points against Solihull.”
