Woodn't Swap It For The World! Luke Unmoved By Big Loss

Luke Garrard says Boreham Wood’s hiding at the hands of Arsenal on Saturday will be good for his players.

The rampant Gunners won 8-0 in new manager Unai Emery’s first game in charge.

Arsenal fan Garrard was amazed by what he was watching - and says it can’t be anything but positive.

“They’re the best team I have ever faced in my career,” he told the club’s video service.

“You look at the two side they put out, they’re frightening. They were here to put on a show for their new manager.

“Killer, ruthless - they were ready to hit us with every blow they could.

“But it was such a worthwhile exercise, it will benefit us down the line,” Garrard added.

“As a proud Arsenal fan it was massive to be the first manager to shake Unai Emery’s hand in England.

“I was a little gutted about the scoreline but I have to look through that.”
