The Wood have taken seven points from their first four fixtures, having won back-to-back games.
They drew 2-2 at newcomers AFC Fylde on the opening day before losing 2-1 at Dagenham and Redbridge. But most recently, Boreham thumped Solihull Moors 4-1 and then won 4-2 at Torquay United.
Their eleven goals so far this season is the second highest amount behind tomorrow's opponents, Aldershot on 12.
The Shots' winning run game to an end thanks to Maidstone United's 95th minute equaliser on Tuesday night but Garrard reckons his side will be up against it as Aldershot come to town.
"I've seen all four of their fixtures - they're very expansive, they try to dominate the ball and they have good personnel across the board. I can envisage it being out toughest test yet," he said.
"They went close last season with a surge into the play-offs and were unfortunate not to beat Tranmere. Their manager [Gary Waddock] has not brought in much in terms of recruitment but he's got a squad that I think he trusts and believes in. The players put his blueprint in place well, but it's about us and what we do on Saturday.
"They have a very good manager in Gary, but I believe in this group and they believe in what we're asking of them.
"Hopefully we can do just as well as we did on Tuesday evening and if that's the case I think we can get a positive result."
