Boreham haven't struggled for goals so far this season having scored the second highest with 20.
And their frontline was bolstered last week with the loan signing of Holman from League Two Cheltenham Town.
The 27-year-old is no stranger to the National League having won the title in 2015-16 in which he scored 30 goals.
Now Holman is back in the division hoping to rediscover his scoring touch - which he nearly did on Saturday but for the linesman's flag - after struggling for game time at Cheltenham
"It was frustrating as we started really well and were in full control so we're very disappointed to lose," he said. "I feel we let them off the hook. We had some great opportunities and positions.
"Personally I wasn't massively over the moon with my debut. It was good to get the minutes in as I hadn't had that for a while. I'm only going to get sharper and better so there's more to come from me.
"That's two losses on the bounce which can't happen if you want to be in a good position in the league. We've need to get together and put it right on Saturday.
"I hope there's a lot more to come than what I showed. At times I felt good but looking at the whole performance I could have been a lot better, and I will get better."
