The Wood saw off Leyton Orient 2-0 at home in front of their record league attendance to climb up into eight place - watch match highlights here.
An attendance of 1,920 - including 1264 Orient fans - smashed their previous highest of 1,293 at Meadow Park.
There was a performance to go with it from Boreham, who returned to winning ways after a disappointing defeat at Barrow last week.
Goals from Daniel Woodyards and Keiran Murtagh earned a deserved win in the opinion of manager Luke Garrard, he said: "I think the performance warranted three points. The reaction from the players from the performance against Barrow was evident throughout the week and I felt Leyton Orient got the backlash.
"The most pleasing thing is the clean sheet. If we keep clean sheets then we create chances, that's 18 goals in 9 games now. The boys have bought into each other and what we have asked of them and I felt that was evident today.
"It's a win but one in 46 games so we can't get over excited. We need to try and get on a run now.
Speaking about the attendance record, Garrard added: "It is a credit to the community, there's been a drive from the club and that's shown how good that's gone. To have 700 Boreham Wood fans is so pleasing and I think if you've come here today and that's the first you've watched a game, I think they'll be back.
"It's unfortunate that we don't carry the 1500-2000 size crowds but the supporters we do have are loyal."
