After drawing 1-1 in the first game, many would have thought, including manager Anthony Limbrick, that Woking might have missed their chance to progress.
But yesterday evening, the Cards produced a scintillating and clinical display to beat their higher-level opponents.
The home fans, after booing their own team off the pitch at full-time, stayed to applaud Limbrick and his side.
“This is without doubt my proudest moment,” he said. "I think it's a real credit that the opposition fans clapped us off at the end, it was something I've never seen or been involved in before.
"That was a really amazing sign of respect from them and made me realise how well we worked and how well we played. I'd like to say thank you to the Bury fans for that.
“We came here with no fear and passed it around, that shows what the cup means to us."
