Woking Delight As Another Academy Graduate Earns First-Team Chance

By Steve Whitney

Woking have announced the addition of third-year academy centre-half Lazar Stojsavljevic to the first-team squad.

Academy manager Scott Harrison said: "Lazar has been with the academy for four years and has progressed within the last two years really well. He's an aggressive centre-half that can play either left or right side and dominate in the air. He was last year's under-19 academy players' player of the season.

“As an academy we are really pleased that another player has made the first-team squad, again the link and trust Anthony Limbrick is putting in the academy is great."

Manager Anthony Limbrick said: "Lazar has really impressed in training with the first team over the last four or five weeks, it’s a credit to the club’s academy that another youth product has earned a squad number".
