Wings Return For Nanetti

Welling United player-manager Jamie Coyle has strengthened his squad by bringing 25-year old winger Christian Nanetti back to Park View Road.

The diminutive Italian winger left the Wings for a spell at Cork City last season but it was a short spell in Ireland as he left due to being unable to force his way into their starting line-up.

Coyle told his club`s official website: “Christian will give us an outlet on the left-hand side and his excellent crossing abilities should create chances for us. He is two-footed and offers us options in attack as he can play on either wing and in other attacking positions. He`s skilful and productive and has looked good in training with us despite having not played recently. He knows the club well having been here last season where he made a good impression, I am pleased to have signed him for this season.”

Nanetti has signed subject to the Wings getting international clearance after his spell in Ireland.
