Wings Look Strong As King Adds Five Impressive Signings

Welling United have announced five new signings - including Eastbourne Borough’s top scorer Gavin McCallum.

Wings boss Steve King has been busy as the club prepare to push for promotion in the Vanarama National League South.

McCallum joins the Kent club to add more goalscoring threat in an exciting day for the club’s fans.

Two new centre-backs have joined. Towering Anthony Acheampong is back for a third spell at Park View Road having ended last season with Dulwich.

Richard Orlu, the Woking, defender, has also signed up in what is looking like an impressive backline.

French winger Nassim L’Ghoul follows boss King from Whitehawk and will add composure on the ball and trickery.

Another player the manager knows well is John-Paul Kissock and he makes it five in a busy day for the club.

King says he is “excited” about the squad taking shape and that he hopes the club can put up a push for promotion.
