Wilson Makes Bucks Switch

AFC Telford United have signed defender Ryan Wilson from Evo-Stik League Premier side Matlock Town.

Twenty-four-year-old Wilson shone in the Ilkeston FC ranks and was transferred to National League side Gateshead for an undisclosed fee in 2014.

He then signed a two-year deal with Alfreton Town in 2015, playing twenty-six times scoring 3 goals in his first season with the Reds and then forty-eight times scoring 3 goals again last season.

He is a former Stockport County trainee and the son of former Chelsea striker and Ilkeston FC boss Kevin Wilson.
