Will Edwards' Bucks Now Fizz At Home As Well?

AFC Telford United have shown what they are capable of away from home against the big boys – now Rob Edwards wants more against the rest of the Vanarama National League North.

The Bucks have won away at York City, that was on opening weekend, and on Saturday added Darlington’s name to their list of scalps. Watch Match Highlights Here.

The performance understandably impressed the manager, who says his players were “first class” Blackwell Meadows after the promotion chasing Quakers.

But fans are wondering how good their season could be if they can take their form away against the clubs up the top and reproduce it at home.

Telford have lost at the New Bucks Head to Brackley and Salford. They were also defeated 1-0 at Curzon Ashton.

This weekend Telford play Bradford Park Avenue and then go to Leamington.

The new boss wants them to build on the win at Darlington, saying: “The players were outstanding – we’ve now won at two grounds where not many will this season.

“I think we need to start believing that we can win games like that because they gave everything.

“If we can be a bit better in the final third I don’t see why we can’t move up the table. It’s been a mixed start but there are a lot of positives to take.”
