Wilkinson: Work Rate Key To Good Run

Wealdstone boss Bobby Wilkinson said his side have shown an increase in performance and fitness levels as they climb the table.

Wealdstone defeated Truro City 2-1, a result that moves the side up to 10th in the Vanarama National League South table, writes Tom Feaheny.

"I'm very pleased with the way we played in the first-half then we really fought in the second, we have done a lot of fitness work and it has shown," Wilkinson said to the club's website.

"Every player put in a real shift and deserves credit, we have faced a great team, who are well drilled they will win a lot of games, we take credit for what we have done."

"The players are believing in themselves we want to put our head down and do what we need to do, five wins in a row at home as well shows what we are all about."

They next face another inform team in Welling United with Wilkinson saying it will be a competitive game.

"It is first V second in the form table, we are both full of belief, it will be a really good game for us both."
