A 2-1 win against Warrington Town means the side are now into the last eight of the competition and just two stages off Wembley, writes Tom Feaheny.
"It was a brilliant cup tie, end to end stuff, they played some good stuff, we made changes and it helped us take control of the match," Wilkinson told the club's website.
"We played really well after the change was made, we deserve to be in the next round, we showed pure guts and determination to get through.
"The players all gave me 10/10, the work rate and we stayed organised, I made a mistake with three in midfield, we went to 4-4-2 and it worked.
"We are thrilled to be through, the fans were brilliant, I want to thank them personally they drove us on and now I don't mind who we face next."
