Wilkin Pleased With Brackley Town's Season So Far

Brackley Town will next face Braintree Town in the third qualifying round of the competition after their win at the weekend.

Brackley Town boss Kevin Wilkin is pleased with the draw his side has got in the next round of the FA Cup as they will be at home on 30th September, writes Tom Feaheny.

Speaking to the club's website about the game he said.

“After lots of away draws last season and again during our last win, it is nice to get a cup game in the next round at St James Park for our home fans.”

"I am pleased to win the tie and get ourselves into the next round.”

Town next take on Curzon Ashton in the Vanarama National League with Wilkin pleased with their start to the season before the break for the cup.

"We have faced some tough sides in recent weeks, the aim was to be in and around the play-off places and right now, that is where we find ourselves."
