Wilkin Admits Avenue Deserved Win

Brackley Town boss Kevin Wilkin had no complaints after his side lost 2-0 away at Bradford Park Avenue at the weekend.

Goals from Adam Boyes and Graham Kelly ensured Brackley lost for the first time in November, writes Tom Feaheny.

“We didn't deserve to get a win and that was disappointing, they took their chances well and I can only really congratulate them on the victory," Wilkin said.

"The group had an off day and we knew that Avenue would be a tough game, they are in the play-off places for a reason.

"In this league you will always face a test and that proved to be the case for us, we didn't help ourselves though with the lack of clear chances."
