Wide Player Bellamy Returns to Dover

By Steve Whitney

Wide player Liam Bellamy has re-joined Dover Athletic.

The 26-year-old started his career with Charlton Athletic, but failed to make the senior side at The Valley, but did have loan spells with Merstham, Cray Wanderers and Hastings United whilst on the Valiants` books.

After being released by Charlton he signed for Welling United and then Ebbsfleet United, where his thirty-eight appearances and 2 goals earned him a move to Dover in 2013.

Bellamy made twenty-nine appearances as the Whites reached the play-offs in 2015/16, taking his tally for Dover to ninety-one and 7 goals, before signing for Aldershot Town in June 2016.

Bellamy endured a long rehabilitation from the knee injury suffered in November 2016 whilst playing for The Shots.

After just fifteen appearances for Aldershot, he signed for Farnborough earlier this season in an effort to get some game time after his long spell out of the game.
