His side’s win at in-form Chesterfield placed the club back in the National League’s top seven.
The 1-0 victory witnessed something very rare - and something the club haven’t enjoyed for over 170 days.
It was Harrogate’a first clean sheet in the National League since October 6.
It’s a long time since their 2-0 win at Ebbsfleet United but the Town manager is determined to enjoy it.
“It’s been quite a while since we last had one!” accepted Weaver, whose side have jumped above Gateshead thanks to Wrexham’s late leveller in the North East.
“I think we deserve it - we won every tackle and won every header.
“In fact I would say this was our best defensive performance of the season by a distance.”
Harrogate now have back-to-back home games against Dagenham and Bromley as they look to put a stamp on a play-off place.
“We’re now entering the final two months and every game is massive,” Weaver added.
“This was a really important win and now we hope to build on it.”
