County are now seven points off the leaders Chorley with half a season to go.
Ahead of their trip to Alfreton on Saturday, the nine-goal forward says their midweek demolition job may serve as a reminder to the rest.

“There are a lot of good clubs up there also however I feel if we can go on a run and get the fans behind us like they have been all season then I don’t see why we can’t still win it,” he said.
“We have a great set of players here, probably the best set I have been a part of and if we can gain in confidence as a group then we will give ourselves every chance.
“Ashton was a fantastic result away from home and great for us to now have two wins away from home on Tuesday nights.
“We have struggled with this in the past so to beat Spennymoor last week and Ashton last night is a huge boost for us.”
He added: “Hopefully that can really provide us with the boost we need to go on a run of consistent good results and push on either further up the table.
“I really believe the league is quite wide open at the moment.”
