Who's Ready For Part Three! A Big Tuesday Starts Here

By Sam Elliott

There’s no time to over-think what went on at the weekend - there’s a full programme coming your way tonight across the three Vanarama National League divisions and we’ve got you well covered.

With streaming taking centre stage this evening, you won’t miss a kick if you can’t get to your team’s game, so let’s take a look at what’s ahead.

The three clubs sitting on maximum points all face testing away days as they look to remain flawless after matchday three. But who will blink first?

Chesterfield have already scored eight but have shipped five, will Paul Cook get a more rounded display when they travel to Oxford City, who are yet to get off the mark?

Dean Brennan says Barnet face a “huge test” at Eastleigh while Southend United manager Kevin Maher just wants his players to carry on blocking out the negative noise and make it nine points from nine at Dorking Wanderers.

Oldham Athletic are up and running and in some style after hitting Aldershot Town for five at the weekend and now they’ve got their eyes fixed on FC Halifax Town at Boundary Park.

Maidenhead United make the long trip to Hartlepool United, who are back in business after a late win over Gateshead on Saturday, pictured. Altrincham’s good start will be examined by a trip to York City, who have seen summer excitement evaporate after two painful early-season defeats.

Elsewhere, Kidderminster’s steady start brings confidence they can get something at AFC Fylde. Woking are winless and host Rochdale as Bromley face Wealdstone looking for their first point.

Dagenham & Redbridge welcome Gateshead with both sides yet to win, while Ebbsfleet United and Aldershot Town want to put defeat at the weekend to one side in Kent.

Blyth Spartans are the only perfect team so far in what is sure to be a competitive National League North. Graham Fenton takes his side to Scarborough Athletic.

Darlington need to get off the mark after a slow start and they go to Scunthorpe United in a battle of the former EFL clubs. Banbury have also lost both, they’re at Tim Flowers’ Gloucester City.

Boston United and Tamworth fans will both be pleased by their first two games and they face off looking to turn a productive opening into a great one. Curzon Ashton take on King’s Lynn while Chester look better after beating the Linnets on Saturday, next up it’s Chorley.

It’s a story of the unexpected fast starters in the National League South.

Worthing’s faultless first seven days had them leading the way after thrashing Torquay United 3-0, now they’re at Slough Town who have yet to register a point. Weston-super-Mare and Bath City both have a spring in their step, they meet in the first of many all West County matches.

Chippenham, with two wins from two, are at Torquay, who really need a result to get up and running. It’s also 100% for Hemel Hempstead Town, they go to Farnborough, while Alan Dowson takes on his old club as Dartford host frequent travellers Hampton & Richmond.

Braintree Town greet Maidstone United, Yeovil Town want another home win, they face Truro City, and Weymouth and Taunton Town cross swords.
