Whitehawk Bring In Well-Travelled Centre-Back

Whitehawk have signed centre-back Osa Obamwonyi from league rivals Braintree Town.

The 26-year-old joined the Iron in August following a very short spell with Bostik League Premier outfit Billericay Town.

Obamwonyi started out at Fisher Athletic and had spells with Dulwich Hamlet, Bromley, Waltham Forest and Tooting & Mitcham United.

He signed for Sutton United in December 2012 and the much-travelled player went on to turn out for Thurrock, Maidenhead United, Heybridge Swifts, Wingate & Finchley, Cheshunt, Cray Wanderers, Bognor Regis Town, Merstham and Whyteleafe.
