White Tigers Are Rediscovering Their Bite Says Leigh

Leigh Robinson has challenged his Truro City players to build on a proud week and fire themselves up the table.

The new manager is pleased with progress after just taking four points off two promotion chasers.

On Saturday they deflated Dartford before the midweek draw with third-place Bath City.

Robinson has spoken to the club’s official website and says he’s thrilled with his players - but wants more of the same at fellow strugglers East Thurrock on Saturday.

"We've played really well in the last two games against top sides," he said ahead of the big battle down the bottom.

“We deserved to take all six points rather than four, but I'm really proud of the lads.

"It shows what a massive difference we have seen over these past few weeks.

"The lads are really buying into what we are trying to do here and their efforts can't be faulted.

"We can be really pleased with our performance on Tuesday evening; we fought on after conceding the penalty early in the second half and it was a fantastic game, albeit nerve-wracking at times.

"We need to take this kind of spirit and determination into our next game now and continue to build on it."

Where next?

What's In Store In The National League South On Saturday? When just five points separate the top five, every single Saturday counts.
Smith Has Timed It Right But Now Can Chesterfield? Jonathan Smith has certainly been the right man in the right place and just the right time this week for Martin Allen.
