What's In Store In The National League North On Saturday?

By Tom Scott

Not all our teams are in action this weekend but we've still got eight tasty looking games coming your way.

It's been tough times for Bradford (Park Avenue) in recent weeks - Mark Bower's men are winless in seven.

No better way then to turn the tide than a win over fellow promotion hopefuls Chester who bagged a crucial win over Boston last time out.

Blyth Spartans' promotion charge had seemed to stall in recent weeks but they'll be bouyed by their win over Leamington last time out.

Mark Yates brings his Kidderminster Harriers side to Croft Park looking to close the gap to the top seven.

Liam Watson is still confident Southport can piece together a run to the play-offs. They entertain FC United of Manchester as they look to start their charge.

Spennymoor Town are looking for a seventh-straight win against Leamington with the Brakes winning just once since December.

After a rocky start, Steve Watson has three wins in four at York City. The Minstermen will be confident of keeping their good form going against bottom side Nuneaton Borough.

Guiseley know three points at home to Alfreton would do wonders for their survival hopes after claiming a win just once in 2019.

Leaders Chorley have two sides breathing down their necks as they prepare to face Ashton United.

Curzon Ashton tasted defeat last week for the first time since the turn of the year. They are looking to bounce back against Altrincham.

Saturday's National League North fixtures:
Blyth Spartans v Kidderminster Harriers
