What's In Store In The National League North On Saturday?

By Tom Scott

There's only five games in the National League North this week but that doesn't mean we're short on drama.

No fewer than three sides could claim top spot this weekend with Chorley being involved in the FA Cup.

Kidderminster Harriers looked out of sorts last weekend and will be looking for a response.

That will worry a leaky Nuneaton Borough defence who desperately need to improve their results.

It's been a struggle at home for Curzon Ashton this season with just one win to their name.

It won't get any easier for them when Bradford (Park Avenue) roll into town.

Chester look unstoppable at the minute but they face an in-form Altrincham side who have lost just once in their last six.

If you thought it was just the top that had all the action, you'd be wrong.

Hereford are in freefall and will be desperate for a win against FC United of Manchester.

The Rebels look much more solid under Neil Reynolds and seem to be on the up.

Elsewhere, Blyth Spartans travel to a Brackley Town side who have lost just once since mid-August.

AFC Telford United have an incredible home record and are yet to lose on their own turf this season.

Boston United are in for a tough ride as they look to bolster their play-off hopes.

National League North fixtures:
AFC Telford United v Boston United
Brackley v Blyth Spartans
Chester v Altrincham
Curzon Ashton v Bradford (Park Avenue)
Hereford v FC United of Manchester
Nuneaton Borough v Kidderminster
