What's Ahead Of Us Tonight Across The National League

By Sam Elliott

There’s even more action coming your way this evening - so who will make their mark as March really gets going?

We have no fewer than seven National League games tonight, and there’s a lot to look forward to.

Two contenders clash and Wrexham fans feel their side just can’t be counted out of the title race - and with good reason.

Despite Stockport County’s surge, they are embarking on a great run themselves and if they win at home to Boreham Wood, the gap will be down to six points again.

They know how to, of course - Phil Parkinson’s side saw off the FA Cup heroes in the FA Trophy last month.

It’s probably play-offs at best now for both Solihull Moors and Notts County.

But both have still work to do to get in there, and the winner on Tuesday will do their chances no harm at all.

Grimsby Town’s home form is keeping them very much in touch, pictured, but can they repeat the trick on the road?

They head to Southend United who just keep on impressing after another brave fightback at Chesterfield.

Dagenham & Redbridge need to keep winning if they are going to make the play-offs.

An away game against a Yeovil Town side who are “getting closer” to turning draws into wins will test the Daggers.

Weymouth know they have to get the points coming in again if they’re to pull off a great escape - they make the long trip to Altrincham.

King’s Lynn Town’s need for wins is even greater and they’re at home to Woking and desperate to give their fans some survival hope.

Wealdstone still have some work to do to secure their National League status and Maidenhead United also won’t rest until they’re safe - they meet in Berkshire.

Plenty of National League North promotion hunters go into battle.

Darlington are edging ever closer to the top seven and even though they are 11th they could dislodge York City with a win there tonight.

Brackley Town need to close the gap on leaders Gateshead but won’t have an easy trip to Guiseley.

Chorley are looking to solidify their play-off place and they will be sitting pretty if they see off Spennymoor Town.

There’s two games in the National League South but they are both big ones.

A goal-filled win for Maidstone United at home to Braintree Town will lift them above leaders Dorking Wanderers.

But as Hakan Hayrettin gets ready to face his old club, their new boss Ryan Maxwell will just hope the Manager of the Month curse doesn’t strike.

Oxford City refuse to be counted out of the title race.

They need a win at St Albans City but the Saints are very much in the play-off race and know they can’t be dropping home points!
