What's Ahead In The Vanarama National League This Evening

By Sam Elliott

There’s seven games coming your way this evening – with a bonus BT Sport match thrown into the bargain.

The cameras couldn’t miss the latest instalment in the Vanarama National League title race.

We will see what Sutton United have to offer and they will return to the top of the table if they see to an out-of-sorts Woking at Gander Green Lane later on.

Manager Matt Gray knows there are more “twists and turns” to come and has urged his team just to focus on themselves and not the noisy chase for the EFL.

He said after Saturday’s straight-forward 2-0 victory over Weymouth that the more things keep changing, the more tense it is sure to be.

He said: “We know there will be many twists and turns still to come, I’m sure of that.

“Nothing has changed for us - it’s a case of keep winning, keep playing well and keep focusing on ourselves and see where it takes us.

“Woking will be another test on Tuesday night and we will have to be at our very best again.”

Don’t forget about Stockport County when it comes to the title race.

But don’t forget about Dagenham & Redbridge when it comes to the play-offs, either.

Daryl McMahon takes his in-form side to Edgeley Park with both on great runs - the Daggers are looking for win number seven in a row.

Maidenhead United just love upsetting the big boys and throwing a spanner in the works.

They keep chalking off the top teams and have already beaten Notts County away from home.

They host them later on in the battle of the Magpies with County desperate for play-off points, and Alan Devonshire’s team not mathematically out of it.

Chesterfield know three home points against King’s Lynn Town is crucial and they will move into the top seven with victory.

Bromley hope to end the day on the right side of the dotted line and go to a Wealdstone side who have lost their last seven and conceded 26 goals in their last six games.

Aldershot Town and Yeovil Town have too much to do to make the play-offs, but they meet at the EBB.

Solihull Moors also are too far off the pace to force a late challenge but are hunting three points against Weymouth.

Tuesday night’s fixtures (kick-off time):
Solihull Moors v Weymouth (7pm)
Stockport County v Dagenham & Redbridge (7pm)
Aldershot Town v Yeovil Town (7pm)
Chesterfield v King’s Lynn Town (7.45pm)
Wealdstone v Bromley (7.45pm)
Maidenhead United v Notts County (7.45pm)
Sutton United v Woking (8pm)
