What Happened On Tuesday Across The National League

By Sam Elliott

The league leaders send out a clear message to all the rest on Tuesday night.

Table toppers Stockport County turned on the second half style away to title rivals Bromley.

They secured their ninth win in ten to power three points clear at the top. Two goals from Paddy Madden and another from Scott Quigley sealed the deal, pictured.

Boreham Wood are up to third - Luke Garrard’s team defeated Altrincham 2-0.

Goals from Kane Smith and Scott Boden did the damage for the FA Cup heroes.

Weymouth are still alive and kicking. Brandon Goodship got them the win they really needed at home to Eastleigh, and they are now six points from safety.

Kidderminster Harriers can’t be discounted in the National League North title race.

An eight-minute, three-goal blitz put Hereford away - Amari Morgan-Smith got two after Sam Austin put them in front.

York City won for a fourth game in a row. Akil Wright was amongst the scorers as they beat AFC Telford United 3-1.

The Minstermen are now just a win off the play-off places. Meanwhile, Southport and Curzon Ashton fired blanks.

Dulwich Hamlet took advantage of being the only National League South promotion chaser to play.

Quade Taylor scored two as Gavin Rose’s team won at Welling United 3-1.

That moved back into the play-offs as all the other games fell foul of the weather.
