It was an afternoon of twists and turns as a super Saturday of National League action was served up.

Yeovil Town stunned Stockport County to really keep things alive - but nobody could take advantage!

Wrexham fluffed their lines, losing a lead at Woking live on BT Sport as Jamar Loza turned the game on its head.

FC Halifax Town also couldn’t up the pressure, they lost to a Kenny Clark goal at Southend United.

Solihull Moors could - a 2-1 victory over Aldershot Town was ultimately sealed by Danny Newton.

Grimsby Town hit a late winner to defeat Torquay United - Tristan Abrahams penalty really did their play-off hopes the power of good.

Ruben Rodrigues scored again as Notts County beat Weymouth 3-1.

Paul McCallum got a late leveller but Dagenham will know they needed to beat King’s Lynn Town at home, 1-1 it ended.

Keiran Murtagh scored twice as Dartford defeated St Albans 3-1.

Elsewhere there were big wins for Ebbsfleet United, Hampton & RB, Chippenham and Bath City - who made life tough for bottom of the table Billericay Town.

It’s sure to go to the wire in the National League North.

Leaders Gateshead had to settle for a 1-1 draw at Kettering Town - Connor Malley with what could be a vital leveller.

Brackley Town are now just two points behind.

Lee Ndlovu and James Armson scored as the Saints won 2-0 at Darlington on Saturday.
