By Sam Elliott

It wasn’t just FA Cup shocks served up today - the National League North and South leaders slipped on banana skins too.

Table topping AFC Fylde were looking to extend their advantage over the rest.

But they didn’t count on Curzon Ashton finding a second wind after Nick Haughton had pegged the Nash back.

Dale Whitham won it for the sensational hosts, and Fylde suffer just their second National League North loss.

Brackley Town didn’t take full advantage but did pick up a useful point as they drew 0-0 at Farsley Celtic.

Boston United were hoping to increase the heat but Chester put out the Pilgrims’ fire.

A stunning 4-0 win was started by Jack Redshaw, before Matt Williams doubled the lead. Charlie Jolley and Darren Stephenson wrapped it up.

Devon Kelly-Evans and Joe Clarke goals earned another impressive win for Leamington - they were too good for Blyth Spartans.

Bradford (PA) totally turned things around against AFC Telford. The comeback win was completed by Adam Nowakowski.

It was a great day for Darlington, pictured, as they won 3-1 at Kettering Town, Jake Cooper amongst the scorers.

Alfreton Town fans saw some brilliant goals as they won 2-0 at Spennymoor while Hereford stunned Chorley - Miles Storey will the Bulls winner.

The National League South leaders Dartford thought their little iffy spell was over.

But Chippenham Town had other ideas and from 3-1 down, a late, late Luke Russe goal earned the Bluebirds a big point.

Dorking Wanderers will be annoyed their didn’t increase the pressure after twice leading at Hemel Hempstead Town.

Craig Fasanmade made it 2-2 and left the Tudors smiling.

Hungerford Town go fifth after an impressive 4-1 success at Billericay Town. Lethal Ryan Seager again got two goals.

Warren Harris got the winner as Slough Town added to Maidstone United’s recent issues.

In the big game down at the wrong end, Braintree Town won for just the second time - a Kyran Clements goal enough to see to Tonbridge Angels.

Bath City held their nerve to beat Welling United 2-1, while Eastbourne Borough got a much-needed win against Chelmsford City.
