Part one of the Easter double bill didn’t disappoint with some important wins claimed as the race for promotion continues to excite.

Sutton United’s lead is down to two points even after the table toppers picked up a useful point at Boreham Wood.

A Mark Ellis winner ten minutes from the end defeated Wrexham, who announced striker Kwame Thomas is out for six months prior to the 1-0 loss.

Chesterfield
won for a fourth game in a row after they came away from Eastleigh win a 1-0 win.

Liam Mandeville on the hour mark did the damage - and James Rowe’s team have now won seven times away from home.

Michael Cheek made sure new it wasn’t a losing start for new Bromley manager Andy Woodman.

His side came from two goals down to draw 2-2 at home to Wealdstone.

Solihull Moors won for a third game in a row, 2-0 at Barnet as Mark Yates was thankful for goals from Tyrone Williams and Kyle Hudlin in north London.

Andrew Dallas’ late, late winner kept Weymouth on track for a strong finish - the Terras won 2-1 at home to Maidenhead United.
