The Yorkshire outfit, National League North Promotion Final winners, have adapted to the step up considerably well.
League leaders, they are proving once again that it’s not always the big clubs that get their own way.
It’s a common feature for manager Weavers to say post match how proud he is on his players.
After staying top of Saturday with a 2-0 win over Maidstone United, he hinted that perhaps his team may be in it for the long haul.
He said: “We’ve done remarkably well, the players have been magnificent.
“The step up is a big step up, but so far they have been brilliant. They can be so pleased by what they’ve done in the first 11 games.
“These lads are capable of achieving really good things and they’re enjoying being where they are.
“We aren’t carrying passengers, they’re in it together and their commitment to the cause is very encouraging.”
