A 2-1 victory saw Town close the gap on top spot to five points, thanks to goals from Joe Leesley and Simon Ainge, writes Tom Feaheny.
"The aim was to win and get the three points, that is what we did, we have performed better and not won, we showed a ruthless side," Weaver said.
"It was a flat performance and we kept level headed, we know we are a good team and can grind the results out."
A crowd of over 1000 saw the side pick up another win as they kept up their record of the joint-best home record in the league.
There was even more good news for the side as Salford City lost to Brackley Town, Weaver though knows they have a lot more work to do."
"We saw Salford had lost, we won't get carried away but the gap is now five points, there is a lot of football to be played."
Next up is a match against Billericay Town, with Weaver looking forward to the occasion that is coming up.
"The group are now focused on the FA Trophy for next week, there is a lot of prize money at stake and we aren't too far away from the exciting end to it."
