Weather Claims A Victim As Poole's Game At East Thurrock Goes

By Sam Elliott

There won't be any play tonight in the game between Poole Town and East Thurrock United.

The match at Rookery Hill won't go ahead due to a waterlogged pitch.

It's the third time in five weeks that Poole have had Tuesday night disappointment due to the weather.

John Coventry's team were looking to put a poor run of form behind them, while Poole themselves aiming to recover from Saturday's 3-1 loss at home to East Thurrock.

They have been much improved away from home so Tom Killick's team will be keen for this match to find a new date soon.

It has yet to be decided, and when it is we will update you on the league website.
