Wash Out! Two Matches Fall Foul Of The Heavy Rain

By Steve Whitney

With rain falling heavily from east to west on Saturday morning, we have two postponements.

The Vanarama National League South game between Truro City and Havant & Waterlooville has fallen victim of a waterlogged pitch.

There was bad news to come - especially for Sutton United, who's long trip to Barrow wouldn't result in the chance of them going top of the league. Match off at 11.30am.

But there has been some good news at other grounds.

Pitch inspections were passed at Chippenham v Gloucester City which was given the go ahead.

The big game in the National League North was also given the green light.

Brackley Town vs Salford goes ahead at St James Park. We will be bringing special coverage from Northants across social media later today.
