Wales Return To The Racecourse After A Decade Away

The Welsh National side are returning to Wrexham for the first time in over ten years.

The Red Dragons have announced the international challenge match against Trinidad and Tobago will be held at the Racecourse Ground.

A huge crowd is expected to see Ryan Giggs’ side in action having not seen Wales run out there since 2008 - a friendly against Norway.

“I’m delighted that we’re able to play at the Racecourse for the first time in 10 years,” said Giggs.

“We thoroughly enjoyed taking the team there for an open training session in May. The support was incredible and further fuelled our ambition to host a match at the historic ground.

“Trinidad & Tobago will prove an interesting test for us and will be great preparation ahead of the Euro 2020 qualifying campaign.”

Fans will hope to get a glimpse of Real Madrid star Gareth Bale in the match next year.
