The Shots couldn't beat the weather last weekend but are set to host Hartlepool United tomorrow, writes Tom Feaheny.
"We want to be a fortress at home, that has to return sooner rather than later," Waddock told the club's website.
"We are performing at a high level, we just have to believe that hard work will end up with us getting what we deserve.
"The group have been punished in the past three matches, we don't want that to happen again, we have to learn from it."
The weather also caused issues for the club not only on the pitch last week as they hadn't been able to train as normal but Waddock was quick to thank those who have helped them.
"We have looked elsewhere for training, I'm very grateful for the help we have been given from a local school to train on, they have trained the best they can."
