Waddock: Calls For Urgent Improvements

Aldershot Town boss Gary Waddock couldn't hide his frustration after their 4-0 loss against East Thurrock United and wants a reaction against Guiseley.

Their previous defeat saw the side leave the FA Trophy at their first stage, they now focus on taking on Guiseley in the National League, writes Tom Feaheny.

"We need to react after losing last weekend, I was bitterly disappointed, the scoreline showed we were no where near good enough, it was unacceptable," Waddock told the club's website.

"The first goal was key but we had a good chance didn't take it, they did, it changes the match, we've got players injured and haven't got an out and out striker right now.

"We had players good enough to win this game, we have a long injury list and it's frustrating, it means right now we can't rotate the squad.

"The focus is on Guiseley and getting the momentum back up ahead of some big games during Christmas."
